Each lesson is tailored to your child’s specific interests and learning style. We begin by getting to know your child, both as person and as a learner, and we create lessons based on skill-based goals. We find a structure that works for your child and replicate it so they know what to expect in each session.

Engaging
The school day is long, and typically we work with kids after they have already put in a lot of hard work. We believe in learning through play-based experiences, coupled with regular and consistent positive praise. Sessions incorporate games and puzzles regularly to boost engagement and confidence.

Adaptive
Lessons evolve over time. Our teaching methods and learning experiences adjust as your child’s goals grow. Your child may start with 30 minute sessions and we learn they have the stamina for 50 minutes! When your child masters a skill, we can take their learning to the next level.

Aligned
Lessons do not happen in isolation. We provide weekly written reports, and we periodically share these with your child’s teacher as well. Our goal is to work in collaboration with the work happening at school and at home, and we will regularly check in to ensure we are all on the same page.
Services
Tutoring
We offer individualized lessons tailored to your child’s goals and needs. We specialize in literacy remediation for grades K-4, embracing a Science of Reading approach. Our tutors are Orton-Gillingham trained with experience teaching students with ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning needs. Sessions typically take place on Zoom, and all necessary lesson materials will be shared during the session for simplicity. All your child needs to do is log in and be present at a table with no distractions!
Consulting
As experienced educators, we offer consulting services to companies developing educational products and curriculum used by kids at home and in schools. We have real world experience and can provide input at various stages of a product’s life cycle. We regularly incorporate digital products and tools into sessions with students and can give real time feedback on effectiveness and practicality.
Parent Coaching
First and foremost, you are the expert when it comes to your child. We work closely with parents to understand your perspective and goals and to better understand your child’s needs and learning style. We then provide input with research-backed strategies and tools to help support your child’s learning journey. We offer advice and guidance, with the understanding that there is no “one size fits all” approach.
